USA Wrestling

USA wrestling is the name given to a certain specific type of wrestling which has developed in the United States and which is being spread around the world gradually. This is basically the type of wrestling you see organised by colleges and other organisations around the country and which is very popular. Alaska USA wrestling is a particular branch of the sport although Arizona USA wrestling and Missouri USA wrestling have also had important influences on the development of the rules and on how the format for competitions is organised and arranged.

Illinois USA wrestling was home to the first black USA wrestler back a couple of decades ago now, and ever since, USA Olympic wrestling has been an open integrated game that anyone with the will to succeed could take part in. Texas USA wrestling is sometimes considered the home of the USA freestyle wrestling rules although Iowa USA wrestling and Georgia USA wrestling are also competing for the right to vaunt this honour in their own name.

The truth of the matter is that the rules are probably the result of a gradual combination and mixing of the rules that were in use in all of the various states and the 2007 USA wrestling rule book cites the Louisiana USA wrestling and Montana USA wrestling committees who were instrumental in providing their for what should and what should not be included in the rule book and how the game should develop and be played across the country.

One of the most important things about USA wrestling is that it means that right across the country, all wrestlers can play a game that has uniform rules and that allow them to participate in a sport where the can compete against each other on an even playing field and where every one knows what is going on and how the lay of the land looks before they enter the ring. This is very important as it means that it is now possible for fighters to challenge different teams from different states and find out in a meaningful way, which state has the very best fighters. If the rules were not the same right across the country then this would not be possible as each fighter could claim that the reason he lost a particular fight was because rules from a different state had been used in his fight. Thankfully this is not an issue today.
